Anthony Ramos is running 26.2 miles for SPlus!
We’re thrilled to announce that Grammy Award-winning artist, Golden Globe and Emmy nominee — and our incredible ambassador — Anthony Ramos will be running the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon in support of Scholarship Plus!
In partnership with Brooks Running, Anthony is hitting the pavement to champion educational opportunity and raise funds that empower first-generation college students to succeed and thrive with individualized support.
Anthony Ramos is a Brooklyn-born artist and actor. He stars in Kathryn Bigelow’s A House of Dynamite, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival, and will lead and executive produce FX’s The Beauty with Ryan Murphy. This year, he appeared in Marvel’s Ironheart (Disney+), The Bad Guys 2 (DreamWorks), and Universal’s box office hit Twisters. He is also known for originating roles in Hamilton and leading In the Heights. In addition to his work on screen and stage, Anthony is also a critically acclaimed recording artist with two studio albums.
From Broadway to recording studios and Hollywood, his journey is fueled by the same relentless drive, heart, and authenticity that define SPlus scholars. In fact, he credits our sister program with supporting the theater education that got him started — led at the time by Kate Fenneman Stokes, now Executive Director of Scholarship Plus.
