Frank graduated as class valedictorian at the Bronx Center for Science and Mathematics with the highest GPA the school has recorded to date. Outside the classroom, Frank writes of two experiences that have made a difference to him. One was playing a lead role in “Little Shop of Horrors.” The other was living with a family in Ecuador for a week as part of the Global Glimpse program. “I always felt a bit sorry for myself having little money,” he wrote. “But now I know what true poverty is. I have learned to focus less on what I don’t have and more on what I do have.” Frank will study chemical engineering.
